The analyser specifically designed to measure Greenhouse Gases – CO₂, N₂O & CH₄.

Signal’s S4 GHG PULSAR analyser employs NDIR technology to measure a range of critically important gases including GHGs such as carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and methane. The S4 GHG PULSAR is an extractive gas analyser, capable of drawing samples from both before and after carbon capture, so that effective Greenhouse Gas emissions reduction can be demonstrated.

With the ability to measure a range of GHGs, the S4 PULSAR uses reference method gas analysis for important gases such as methane and nitrous oxide. Why are they important? Well, methane is about 25 times more powerful as a GHG than carbon dioxide, and nitrous oxide is 300 times more powerful!

Our customer purchased Signal Group’s latest fixed, heated FID, the S4 SOLAR, and we needed a little help with setup and commissioning because the customer wanted to calibrate his device with a special gas rather than propane. We therefore contacted Signal and they were able to log into the analyser remotely and quickly changed the analyser settings. Following this amendment, the analyser was operational in no time. As a result, the customer was delighted and said that Signal’s remote diagnostic capability was a very pleasant surprise!
