USA appointments underpin Signal’s growth plan

Following the launch of the new Series 4 platform of advanced gas analysers, Signal Group has established a firm footing in the North American market with the appointment of three new companies to provide sales and service for the company’s instruments.

“Our latest products will enjoy wide appeal in the United States,” comments Signal Managing Director James Clements. “They employ cutting-edge technology, delivering high levels of accuracy and reliability, and operating with remote connectivity via almost any communications technology. We are therefore excited to partner with highly reputable US companies; each of which employs experts in gas analysis with many years of experience.”

Signal’s product range includes reference gas analysers, employing flame ionisation detection (FID), chemiluminescence detection (CLD), and non-dispersive infra-red (NDIR) as well as sample handling and analyser audit equipment. The three companies that will represent these technologies in the USA are Highmark Analytics, Millennium Instruments and CTN.

Based in Hardwick, New Jersey, Highmark Analytics has over 17 years of experience in the provision of instruments for safety, process and compliance monitoring. General Manager Roger Downey says: “We are excited to work with Signal because the company’s products fit very well with our existing portfolio.”

With customers spread across the upper mid-West, Millennium Instruments’ President Rob Ravenscraft says: “Signal has an excellent reputation and we foresee great potential for the company’s FIDs in particular. The 3010 MINIFID PURE portable heated FID offers several unique advantages and a number of the instruments are already in operation within the greater Chicago area.”

Art Nunn, President of CTN LLC, has worked for over 40 years in air quality and emissions monitoring. Having worked with Signal analysers before, he says he is “impressed with the durability, stability and serviceability of the instruments.” CTN is located in Virginia and services the eastern and south eastern United States.

Summarising, James Clements says: “The new representatives all possess high levels of technical expertise, so they will add great value to our instruments in the United States, and we are looking forward to working with them.”
