SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, has been using Signal Group 821S Gas Dividers at its laboratory near Munich in Germany since 1995. The instruments are used to create up to ten different calibration gas concentrations from a single calibration gas. This enables staff at the SGS laboratory to perform accurate, reliable calibration of pollutant gas analysers across their full measurement range.
SGS Test Engineer Elena Fogus says: “The Gas Divider has worked very well; helping us to assure the accuracy of our measurements, whilst reducing the number of calibration gas bottles required. This reliability is further assured by regular calibration checks that are performed by Signal Group.”
The services provided by the SGS laboratory include testing and analytical work for the e-Mobility sector (electric and hybrid vehicles).
